Art Deco jewellery, popular in the 1920s and 1930s, is known for its clean lines, geometric shapes, and symmetry. Materials such as platinum, white gold, diamonds, and colourful gemstones were often combined to create a luxurious effect. A common design was a locket, as seen in this bracelet, with the locket serving both a decorative and personally meaningful purpose. These pieces emphasised elegance and modernity, focusing on the balance between form and function. Today, Art Deco jewellery is prized for its timeless style and refined craftsmanship.
