18kt white gold vintage 1950s brooch by the jeweler John van der Vet in the shape of a flower set with a round faceted tourmaline with a diameter of 7.5mm, surrounded by brilliant cut diamonds in various sizes, below the flower hang four tassels, each set with baguette and brilliant cut diamonds and a round faceted tourmaline at the end. The total diamond weight is approximately 1.80ct. The 1940s and 1950s are also known as the Retro period.
