18kt white gold vintage ring, set with a grey Tahitian pearl at its centre. The pearl is flanked on either side by bands set with single-cut diamonds.

Tahitian pearls are cultivated in the lagoons of French Polynesia by the black-lipped oyster. As the pearl grows, the oyster deposits layers of nacre, creating its distinctive luster. Natural conditions give Tahitian pearls their characteristic dark colors, making them both rare and highly prized. Like Champagne, the Tahitian pearl is protected by a designation of origin.
