About lyppens

For over sixty-five years, Lyppens jewellers has had its own large workshop above the shop. The workshop is the heart of the company, where diamond setters, restorers, master gold and silversmiths, and 3D designers passionately pursue their craft every day. The specialists who work there possess knowledge and expertise that is hard to find elsewhere. Take setting a rose diamond, for example, a craft that dates back to the 19th century. Lyppens also specialises in restoration.

From engagement rings to signet rings, craftsmanship is central to Lyppens.

The diamond setters are an integral part of the workshop, and Lyppens jeweler has a huge collection of certified diamonds in stock in various cuts. This makes it possible to select a setting and set the stone immediately, so that your engagement ring is ready the same day.

We prefer to work by appointment. No appointment? We'll be happy to assist you if possible.

Yes, your wedding bands can be engraved either by machine or by hand. This can include a date, a name, or a personal message, making your rings a truly unique symbol of your love.

Machine engraving is done in our upstairs workshop using an engraving machine. The engraving is less deep in the metal compared to hand engraving. Hand engraving is a true craft. Using a traditional engraving tool and a steady hand, a master engraver carves the inscription by hand. This results in a deeper engraving and gives the ring a beautiful artisanal character. For both options, you can choose from various fonts, which you can view in-store.
